DEVONPORT LOCAL LIAISON COMMITTEE
The Local Liaison Committee was formed to provide a forum for
members to gather information about general operations undertaken
on the Babcock and Naval Base site and discuss health, safety and
environmental issues which may impact on public safety. The Committee
meets twice yearly, chaired alternately by the Ministry of Defence
and Babcock.
The next Local Liaison Committee meeting is Friday 9 July 2010 at 10:00 at Welcome Hall, Devonport.
It will give
Committee members the opportunity to hear about current Dockyard
activities from senior Babcock staff and from MoD officials.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and individuals can,
in advance of the meeting, ask their representatives on the Committee
to put particular questions to the Babcock and MoD personnel.
